FIELD: plastic processing.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a sheet for use in vacuum molding, to the source material for the sheet, to a method for producing it, and to a method for producing a molded article. Sheet can be easily molded and it shows a high ability to follow the shape of the mold during vacuum molding. Sheet has a high content of inorganic powder; containing a compound of metal, thermoplastic resin and internal lubricant, where the mass ratio of thermoplastic resin and powder of inorganic matter is from 55:45 to 30:70. Source material for the sheet includes a mixed mixture of ingredients with a predetermined ratio. Method for producing a sheet for vacuum forming and a method for producing a molded article using a sheet for vacuum forming include forming a molded sheet and processing it by vacuum molding. Preferably, the sheet for use in vacuum molding has an elongation ratio of 20 % or more at 120 °C, measured according to JIS K7127-1999, in the direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the sheet (namely, in the transverse direction, TD), and in the direction of movement of the sheet (namely, in the processing direction, PD) during sheet production.

EFFECT: technical result achieved when using a group of inventions is to ensure accurate reproduction of the internal shape of the mold when vacuum-forming a sheet with the specified ingredients and good sheet formability with a large amount of inorganic powder.
