FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to production of sheet with high content of inorganic matter powder and to thin-film sheet of high whiteness and opacity. Proposed process comprises preparation of inorganic matter powder with particle size of 0.5 to 15 mcm not containing particles of size at least 50 mcm, and thermosetting resin. The latter is selected to reduce apparent sheet density to 0.55-1.40. Besides, auxiliary is prepared and initial materials are mixed at preset ratio of components. Now sheet blank is made. Said blank comprises the mix with weight ratio of inorganic matter powder to amount of thermosetting resin making 60:40 to 82:18. Auxiliary matter in amount of 0.05-4.0 wt % is added to the mix proceeding from total amount of inorganic powder and thermosetting resin making 100%. Produced mix is extruded with the help of system with T-like head with immediate contact with the roller that features temperature of 50°C but not higher than fusion point of thermosetting resin. Also, lengthwise and/ or horizontal stretching is conducted at adjustment of stretching degree from 1.1 to 3.0. Besides, this invention discloses the sheet for printing.

EFFECT: uniform-depth sheets suitable for printing, control over apparent depth, ruled out fouling with inorganic powder.
