SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for sorting according to the parameters or properties of the products or materials being sorted, for example, sorting performed using devices which perceive or measure these parameters or properties, in particular, to devices that provide rapid analysis of seeds by qualitative characteristics. Task arises in forestry and agriculture, if necessary, rapid analysis of seeds on qualitative grounds. Seed quality analyzer contains a polychromatic radiation source, an optical waveguide, a transparent pipeline, two N-output optical splitters, two groups of N optical Y-splitters, two groups of N fiber-optic Bragg gratings, two groups of N photodetectors, multiplexer "2N×1", analog-to-digital converter, microprocessor and data display unit.

EFFECT: claimed invention is intended for express analysis of seeds in terms of qualitative characteristics and is aimed at solving the problem of simplifying the design of the device and its technical operation.
