FIELD: devices for sorting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for sorting according to the parameters or properties of the products or materials being sorted, for example, sorting performed using devices, which perceive or measure these parameters or properties, in particular, to devices that ensure the sorting of seeds by qualitative characteristics. Disclosed seed sorting device comprises a polychromatic radiation source, a focusing lens, a transparent pipeline, two N-output optical splitters, two groups of N optical Y-splitters, two groups of N fiber-optic Bragg gratings, two groups of N photodetectors, "2N×1" multiplexer, analogue-to-digital converter, microprocessor, demultiplexer "1×K ", seed receiver, group K of electromagnets, cells for storage of separated seeds. Advantage of the device for sorting seeds is total speed of photodetectors (up to 100 ps), multiplexer (up to 10 ns), analogue-to-digital converter (up to 0.1 mcs), microprocessor (up to 1 mcs), demultiplexer (up to 10 ns) and electromagnets (up to 10 ns). Seeds treatment process is carried out in the mode of their supply while ensuring high quality of their sorting due to microprocessor processing of spectral characteristics.
EFFECT: simplified design of the device and faster operation.
