FIELD: devices for sorting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for sorting by parameters or properties of sorted items or materials, for example sorting, performed by means of devices, which perceive or measure these parameters or properties, in particular, to devices providing sorting of seeds by qualitative criteria. Disclosed invention is intended for sorting of seeds by qualitative features and is aimed at solution of task of simplification of device design and its technical operation, as well as improvement of quality of seeds sorting. Set task arises in forestry and agriculture if it is necessary to sort seeds according to qualitative criteria. Seed sorting device comprises polychromatic radiation source, transparent pipeline bent at acute angle to vertical position, two focusing lenses, two groups of N Bragg mirrors, two groups of N photodetectors, multiplexer 2N×1, analogue-to-digital converter, microprocessor, demultiplexer 1×(N-1), a group of (N-1) electromagnets, a group of (N-1) metal gates, a group of N cells for storage of sorted seeds.

EFFECT: advantages of the proposed device for seed sorting are simple design and considerable improvement of quality of seeds sorting on the basis of analysis of their spectral characteristics received both in the reflected and passing light flows.
