FIELD: scuba diving.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to scuba diving divers. Method for assessing the degree of danger of scuba diving, including the calculation of the indicator of the degree of danger of immersion, which is carried out by performing the following steps: a) determining the composition of the gas mixture inhaled by the diver; b) measurement of the duration of the dive; c) determining the depth profile of the dive; d) calculation of the hazard rating of the dive as a function of the results of steps a), b) and c); e) assessment of the degree of danger based on the result of the calculation of the index of the degree of danger of immersion at stage a); steps a), b), c), d) and e) are performed in real time at each time point of the diver’s dive and the calculation in step d) is performed according to the following formula: DSI = k1 * f(GAS) * f(D) * f(T), where DSI is an indicator of the degree of danger of immersion, k1 is an arbitrary constant, f(GAS) is a function of the composition of the inhaled gas mixture, f(D) is a function of the immersion depth, f(T) is a function of the duration of the immersion.
EFFECT: invention contributes to the safety of diving.
