FIELD: medicine, in particular, physiology of underwater swimming and aerospace medicine. SUBSTANCE: object of invention is raising effectiveness of prevention of caisson disease by improving immunity of human organism to caisson disease and its capability of reducing content of excessively dissolved indifferent gas and lowering intensity of intravascular decompression gas formation. Above object is achieved by daily inhaling 5-percenthypercapnic gas mixture for 85 to 90 min during 6 to 7 days to be able to withstand varying pressure of surrounding atmosphere. EFFECT: higher effectiveness in preventing and combatting caisson disease. 1 tbl
