FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment field. Device for creating hypercapnia in humans contains a respiratory chamber for the accumulation of carbon dioxide and a breathing tube with a mouthpiece. Respiratory chamber is made in the form of a folding corrugated tank with a variable volume, fixed tightly around the perimeter on the proximal and distal rectangular plates, the base of which is movably mounted on the axis with the possibility of sliding relative to each other. Breathing tube is removable. Plates are provided with openings for the entry of air from the atmosphere into the respiratory chamber when inhaling and exiting the respiratory chamber when exhaling. In one of the plates there is a latch with grooves for fixing the breathing tube and a hole that coincides with the lumen of the inserted breathing tube. Threaded sleeve is fixed on the axis for a fixing nut installed with the possibility of fixing the position of the support plates, and a washer with divisions on it corresponding to the volumes of the breathing chamber.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the overall dimensions, weight and cost of the device for obtaining gas mixtures for breathing with different concentrations of carbon dioxide.
