SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fields of mining and construction and can be used when conducting underground mine workings on hard rock: adits, drifts, crosscut tunnels, road tunnels, underground workings and collectors in urban construction. Method of airing mine faces includes the forced supply of fresh air into the tunnels and the removal of polluted air in the air exchange mode with the help of air-exchange fans, which create a reduced atmospheric pressure for the implementation of forced air exchange in tunnels, as well as the removal of polluted air with the help of autonomous fans, the removal of polluted air in the air exchange modes is carried out by separate exhaust gas-air manifolds communicated with tunnels through the transverse channels, continuous air cleaning is performed using purification plants and noise attenuation. Fresh air is supplied to the bottomhole and intermediate chambers of the excavation, formed by the installed equipment of the tunnel complex, separately through ventilation windows in the tunnel complex of the soil along the generation axis due to pressure difference and pipelines with exhaust siphons installed on the shields of the complex on the sides of the mine and forming a multi-directional jet of fresh air along the cross-section and stable turbulent ascending streams displacing the gas-air mixture to the roof of the mine. Removal of the gas-air mixture is carried out by gas-air pipelines with outlet manifolds installed on the shields of the complex at the roof along the axis of generation.
