SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composition for enhancing collagen synthesis and reducing the formation of oxidising agents in the skin. Composition for enhancing collagen synthesis and reducing the formation of oxidising agents in the skin, containing at least one retinaldehyde and/or one of its stereoisomers selected from trans-cis-retinaldehyde, all-trans-retinaldehyde or a mixture of these two stereoisomers, and from 0.01 to 2 wt.%, relative to the total weight of the composition, of a cell preparation of a meristem cell culture of Leontopodium alpinum in the presence of glycerol and xanthan gum.
EFFECT: said composition synergistically increases collagen synthesis and reduces the formation of oxidising agents in the skin.
