SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine engineering. Vehicle footrest assembly includes a footpad, a fastener and a dead pedal. Fastener include a head and a collar spaced apart to define a receptacle having an inclined lead-in surface, and a threaded portion screwed into the footpad. Dead pedal includes a clip receiving the receptacle to attach the dead pedal to the footpad. Clip is located inside the holder. Lead-in surface is formed on the head or collar.
EFFECT: higher reliability of the footpad assembly is achieved.
