MEASUREMENT UNIT OF ANGULAR VELOCITIES WITH REVERSIBLE THERMAL CONTROL SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01C21/00 G05D23/00

Abstract RU 2675779 C1

FIELD: navigation; measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storied inertial navigation systems, which are widely used in control systems and orientation of moving objects on land, at sea and in outer space. Angular velocity measurement unit includes a housing with side, top and bottom faces and an internal cavity, three fiber-optic gyros located on the side of two adjacent side faces and the top face, the gyroscopes are provided with protective covers and are fixed in the housing on the base surfaces with ensuring the installation of their measuring axes, as well as the electronics unit, located in the housing cavity. In this case, the claimed unit for measuring angular velocities is equipped with a reversible thermal control system, including external and internal contours, wherein the external circuit includes a Peltier thermoelectric module located on the surface of the housing, the working surface of which is in thermal contact with the housing, on the outer surface of the Peltier module, there is a radiator with an exhaust fan and an internal circuit including Peltier modules located on the outer surface of each fiber-optic gyro with radiators mounted on them.

EFFECT: improving the accuracy and reliability of the angular velocity measurement unit by minimizing perturbed temperature effects.
