FIELD: fibre optoelectronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to systems for controlling the temperature of the fibre circuit of a fibre-optic gyroscope of a spacecraft. The thermal stabilization system contains a fibre circuit coil, a sealed thermostatic volume with a working fluid, which is a vapor drop mixture (saturated steam), thermoelectric modules and temperature sensors. Sealed thermostatic volume is formed by two concentric shells made of a material with high thermal conductivity. The outer shell is the frame of the coil. The inner shell diameter is about 80% of the outer shell diameter. Thermoelectric modules providing thermal stabilization of the thermostating gas are installed on the inner surface of the inner shell - outside the sealed volume.
EFFECT: increase in the stability of maintaining the temperature of the fibre-optic circuit and a reduction in the mass and dimensions of the thermal stabilization system of the fibre-optic gyroscope are achieved.
