FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nano-catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. In the method, a monodisperse transition metal nano-catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is described, including a transition metal and an organic solvent, where the transition metal is stably dispersed in an organic solvent in the form of monodisperse nanoparticles; the transition metal is manganese, iron, cobalt, ruthenium or a mixture of these; the transition metal has a grain size in the range of 1–100 nm; the organic solvent is benzyl ether, aromatic alcohol, pyrrolidone or liquid paraffin; and the catalyst has a specific surface area in the range of 5–300 m2/g, moreover, the specified catalyst obtained by the method, including: (1) dissolving an organic salt of said transition metal in said organic solvent containing a polyhydric alcohol to form a mixture; and (2) heating and stirring the mixture in the presence of air or inert gas, holding the mixture at a temperature in the range of 150–250 °C for 30–240 minutes to obtain the specified nano-catalyst from a monodisperse transition metal for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis.
EFFECT: high catalytic activity of the catalyst, while the grain size of the active metal is manageable.
