FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst, a method for its preparation and application in a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction. A catalyst is described, containing an active component, which is iron or cobalt, and a nitride carrier, which is boron nitride, silicon nitride or a mixture thereof, having a specific surface area of at least 80 m2/g and not more than 629 m2/g; where the active component is deposited on the carrier, where the dispersion of the active component is from 15 to 75%.
EFFECT: catalyst has high hydrothermal stability, excellent mechanical wear resistance, high activity in the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and excellent stability at high temperatures.
