SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for use in a liquid droplet apparatus for producing liquid droplets and can be used in ultrasonic mesh aerosol spray devices. Device for use in a liquid droplet apparatus comprises vibrating element (201), aperture plate (205) and vibrating platform (203). Vibrating platform (203) is located between vibrating element (201) and aperture plate (205) for transmitting vibrations from the vibrating element to aperture plate (205). Vibrating platform comprises first annular portion (203a) for connection to vibrating element (201), second annular portion (203b) for connecting to aperture plate (205), and side wall (203c) to define a cavity. First annular portion (203a) lies in a first plane, and second annular portion (203b) lies in a second plane. Second plane is separated from the first plane and is essentially parallel thereto, and is separated from the third plane corresponding to the plane in which vibrating element (201) lies, and is essentially parallel thereto. Side at least partially protrudes through the opening of the vibrating element. Vibrating platform (203) is designed in such a way that aperture plate (205) is located inside cavity (202) formed in the vibrating platform.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to protect the aperture plate from accidental displacement from the vibrating platform and reduce the overall height of the device.
