SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid medium flow control and particularly relates to flow control device (109) comprising inlet chamber (206), outlet chamber (207), plurality of electrically conductive capillary channels (201–205) connecting hydraulically and parallel to inlet chamber (206) and outlet chamber (207), first and second electrical terminals (208, 209) configured to be connected to an electric current source, and at least one electrical switch (210a, 210b, 211a, 211b) disposed so as to selectively connect one or more said capillary channels (201–205) between electric terminals (208, 209). Invention also relates to a system for supplying working gas of a space electric engine (101), comprising such device (109) for controlling flow rate of working gas, as well as a flow control method using such a flow control device (109).
EFFECT: invention allows to control ultralow flow rates of fluid medium with high accuracy in relatively wide ranges.
