FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to thermal and pneumatic engines. Heat engine configured to carry out a Rankine heat cycle comprises drive unit (1) including housing (2) with annular chamber (12), rotors, mounted for rotation in housing (2), the primary shaft, functionally connected with the rotors, transmission, functionally located between the rotors and the primary shaft. Each of the two rotors has three pistons (7a, 7b, 7c; 9a, 9b, 9c) made slidable in chamber (12). Unit (1) is used as a rotary bulk expander. Heat engine also contains a steam generator located upstream from unit (1), an electric generator connected to the primary shaft, a condenser located downstream from unit (1).
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at creating engines with a drive unit that can use several heat sources and generate mechanical work with a high total efficiency.
