FIELD: cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of the cosmetic industry, namely to the curable composition for strengthening the nails of the fingers or toes, as well as to the method of strengthening the nails and to the method of restoring the damaged nail by applying the specified composition to the nail with its subsequent curing. Proposed composition contains: (i) polymerizable material selected from hydroxypropyl methacrylate, ethylene methacrylate, bis(glyceryl dimethacrylate)pyromellitate or combinations thereof; (ii) at least one penetrating agent that allows the polymerizable material to penetrate through the nail surface and is selected from corn oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, palm oil, palm fruit kernel oil, rape seed oil, peanut oil, cotton seed oil, coconut oil, grape seed oil, tomato seed oil, hazelnut oil, soybean oil, tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, wheat germ oil, sea buckthorn seed oil, argan oil, peppermint oil and macadamia oil; and (iii) a curing agent in an amount of from 0.1 to 5 %.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides improved strength, elasticity, resistance to external influences, hardness and flexibility of the nail plate.
