FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to media file processing. Proposed is a method that includes displaying text information, where text information is associated with the media file; receiving a first gesture and displaying time information, where the time information is associated with a part that is selected by using the first gesture and belongs to the text information; and receiving a second gesture and acquiring a segment, which is confirmed by using the second gesture and belongs to the media file. By using the displayed text information, the displayed time information and the acquired segment, which is confirmed by using the second gesture and belongs to the media file, the terminal does not need to install other processing software to implement the processing of the gesture.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and speed of processing a media file by a mobile terminal.
