Electronic device configured to operate in first and second modes, the first mode provides normal unblocked user interaction, the second mode allows the user to perform a limited user input; the device provides a second mode indication event associated with the data output in the second mode and which is a reception of a message from a third party or a scheduled event, and the occurrence of the event initiates the availability for a predetermined period of time after the occurrence of the event in the second mode, a limited user input, associated with the data output in the second mode to provide a display acronym outputting data in said second mode for said event in response to the limited user input made during a predetermined time period, wherein the reduced output is a shortened version of the data output for said event available in the first mode.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce the intensity of data processing that allows you to extend your battery life.
