FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fire extinguishing technique, in particular, to units used in extinguishing fires at industrial and other enterprises, as well as in public and other buildings, transport and other objects. In the proposed technical solution, the fire extinguishing unit includes a pressure generator connected to a tank containing a fire extinguishing agent, a pipeline or located directly in this tank. In this case, the pressure generator is made in the form of a refractory tank, in which at least two charges of a gas or aerosol-forming compound with initiators are placed, which are connected to a control device, and at least one pressure sensor is installed inside the tank with the extinguishing agent or in the pipeline connecting the pressure generator to the tank, which is connected to the control device.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the efficiency of extinguishing due to the possibility of automatic regulation and maintenance of pressure of the displacing agent, as well as stopping the installation at any desired moment, and besides, the result is a reduction in overall dimensions, mobility, independence from the water supply network and the absence of vessels under pressure, which generally increases the safety of operation.
