FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high viscosity paint and varnish compositions used to obtain chemically resistant and heat-resistant coatings by cathodic electrodeposition. Said paint and varnish composition for producing thin coatings by the method of cathodic electrodeposition contains an aqueous emulsion of epoxy resin with a concentration of 36–38 % of dry residue, 100 % acetic acid, 2 % aqueous solution of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and demineralized water in the following ratio of components, g/l: water emulsion of epoxy resin – 120–150; 100 % acetic acid – 0.1–0.6; 2 % aqueous solution of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane – 5–50; demineralized water – the rest is up to 1 l. Also, the composition contains an aqueous dispersion of a pigment paste stabilized with low molecular weight epoxy resin, with a concentration of 52–56 % on a dry residue in an amount of 40–47 g/l. Additionally, the composition contains aqueous latex fluororubber with a concentration of 60–70 % on a dry residue in an amount of 2.5–10 g/l.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the heat resistance, salt resistance and water resistance of the coating with high chemical resistance of the coating.
