FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used for cathodic electrodeposition of metal-polymer cadmium-containing coatings. Composition contains a paint-and-lacquer material for cathode electrodeposition, consisting of an emulsion film former in the form of an epoxy-amine adduct modified with toluene diisocyanate with a molecular weight of 1,700–2,500 amu, and black pigment paste, acetic acid and cadmium acetate, with the following content of components, wt. %: paintwork material for cathode electrodeposition 34±2, acetic acid (100 %) 0.4±0.1, cadmium acetate (100 %) 4.5–5.5; demineralized water with a conductivity not higher than 20 mcS/cm the rest.
EFFECT: obtaining uniform and thin coatings with high corrosion resistance in the marine atmosphere.
