FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to determine the heterogeneity of the strength properties of concrete in structures and reduce labor costs by simplifying the selection of control samples, with the possibility of using the proposed method in densely reinforced and thin-layer structures. Gist: drilling out of the construction of a cylindrical sample is carried out, the subsequent testing of its splitting by applying a breaking load to the lateral surface of the sample until fracture, with the subsequent calculation of the strength and determination of the uniformity of the strength of concrete along the length of the sample. Determination of strength is carried out by the method of step splitting of a cylindrical sample in the diametral plane, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder with a step between load application areas of 12–17 mm, with an ability to determine the strength of concrete in the cross section of the structure in layers in a plane parallel to the structure surface.

EFFECT: ability to determine and take into account in the evaluation of the operational suitability of structures the actual heterogeneity in cross sections while reducing the influence of disturbing methodological and metrological factors.
