FIELD: construction materials.

SUBSTANCE: field of direct methods for non-destructive testing of concrete strength in construction structures and products. The strength class of concrete is determined based on the actual value of the elastic modulus of concrete, which is determined directly in the structure. When testing vertical structural elements for compression, two sleeves are placed, pins are inserted into the laid sleeves, a cable is pulled between two sections of the pin on both sides, a loading device is secured to the cable, instruments for measuring deformations are installed along the central axis of the structural element being tested, and the tested element is loaded to level of 10% of the calculated load value, determine the relative deformation, and calculate the actual elastic modulus based on the data obtained, and compare it with the calculated elastic modulus. When testing horizontal structural elements for bending, a sleeve is placed during the manufacture of the element, the distance between the supports and the width, height of the cross section of the element are measured, a steel cable is threaded into the laid sleeve, the cable is fixed in the upper part, secured from below to the loading device, the element under test is loaded to the 10% level of the calculated load value, determine the deflection value at a given load, calculate the actual elastic modulus based on the data obtained and compare it with the calculated elastic modulus.

EFFECT: expanding control zones, increasing measurement accuracy, simplifying the control process and obtaining more reliable results when assessing the strength of concrete, i.e. improving the quality of concrete strength control, which ensures increased reliability of concrete and reinforced concrete structures.
