FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creating epoxy binders for polymer composite materials of structural purpose based on fiber reinforcing fillers, which can be used in aviation, aerospace and engineering industries. Epoxy binder contains ultrafine aluminum in the following ratio of all components (pts. wt.): epoxy resin KDA – 100, hardener triethanolamine titanate (TEAT-1) – 10, surfactant ADE-3 – 3, ethanol – 16.34, acetone – 33.66, ultrafine aluminum – 3–7.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create an epoxy binder for manufacture of carbon plastics with enhanced stress-related characteristics in compression and interlayer shear, while maintaining the tensile strength of the carbon plastic.
