FIELD: toxicology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sanitary toxicology and can be used to determine the content of fumaric and maleic acids in blood plasma by the method of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Blood sample is centrifuged, plasma is separated and adjusted to pH 1 with concentrated phosphoric acid. Carry out solid phase plasma extraction by successively passing acetonitrile (AC), distilled water, plasma, and 5 % aqueous solution of AC through Oasis HLB 1CC sorbent. Extract the analytes from the cartridge by passing through it a clean AC. Extract is dried under vacuum, the dry residue is redissolved in methanol and passed through a membrane filter. Conduct a subsequent study of the extract using HPLC. Number of fumaric and maleic acids set on the calibration curve.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the sensitivity and selectivity of the separate determination of the content of fumaric and maleic acids in the blood and makes it possible to diagnose the chemical load of chemical workers.
