FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steel structures. Beam contains upper and lower belts connected to a pair of vertical walls. Belts are made of portal rails placed symmetrically relative to the horizontal axis. Each pair of vertical walls of each of the rails is provided with horizontal rows of holes with a regular pitch and is connected by high-resource studs with washers. Interconnected pair of portal rails and pair of vertical walls form a closed loop, having an anomalously high rotational moment of inertia JRot.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and maintainability of the crane beam is achieved.
