SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire fighting equipment used to extinguish forest fires. Method of extinguishing forest fires, including laying of barrier and support mineralized strips, for which produce felling of wood using robotic platforms equipped with devices for felling, then mineralized strips are laid using robotized platforms equipped with trencher or a primer, as well as using annealing devices. In the process of localization of forest fire, they are monitored by means of copters equipped with video surveillance systems and / or SWIR or FLIR thermal imaging cameras, and in case of detection of the fact that fire front has crossed created barrier line in certain areas, they send robotized platforms equipped with installations for extinguishing a flame with stream of water and / or foam to these areas, and with their help remotely extinguish flames in these areas, preventing a fire breakthrough.

EFFECT: robotized complex for implementing method of extinguishing forest fires contains complex of vehicles equipped with remote control devices for the complex’s components, communication facilities between themselves and their superiors, as well as trailers for transporting robotic platforms.
