SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a monomodal ethylene copolymer used for hot water supply pipelines. Ethylene copolymer is characterised by density from 0.935 to 0.945 g/cm3, melt flow index MIF (190 °C, 21.60 kg) from 10 to 18 g / 10 min and melt flow index MIP (190 °C, 5 kg) from 1 to 2.5 g / 10 min, and the ratio MIF / MIP from 5 to 10. Ratio Mw/Mn, where is Mw is the weighted average molecular weight, and Mn is the number average molecular weight, measured by GPC (gel permeation chromatography), ranges from 5 to 8.
EFFECT: ethylene copolymer has increased flexibility and temperature stability.
