SUBSTANCE: invention relates to waist belt (15) for an absorbent article having an inner surface facing the user during use and an outer surface facing away from the user during use. Belt contains first end section (16) of the belt, provided with a fastening component, and second end section (17) of the belt, provided with a counter-holding component. Each component of mounting component (11a) and counter mounting component (13a) contains first structure (51) of the mechanical connector and second structure (52) of the mechanical connector. Each structure of a mechanical connector can form a mechanical interconnection with the specified other structure of a mechanical connector and cannot form a mechanical interconnection with an identical structure. In addition, the specified fastening component and the specified counter mounting component mechanically connected using the specified first structure (51) of the mechanical connector and specified second structure (52) of the mechanical connector with the formation of a mutual connection between the specified first transverse end section of the tape and the specified second transverse end section of the tape for fastening to each other, covering the user of the absorbent product.
