SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of compressor engineering and can be used in various industries. Linear compressor contains a cylinder containing a compression chamber for the refrigerant. Cylinder includes a cylinder nozzle through which refrigerant is introduced and a piston mounted in the cylinder and moved by a refrigerant supplied through the cylinder nozzle. Piston includes a piston body, which reciprocates inside the cylinder in the axial direction, and a first piston groove formed in the outer peripheral surface of the piston body. First piston groove is configured to direct the refrigerant in such a way that a portion of the refrigerant supplied from the cylinder nozzle is discharged outside the cylinder. Second groove of the piston is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the piston housing and is separated from the first groove of the piston. Through it flows refrigerant supplied from the nozzle of the cylinder. Cylinder nozzle includes a first nozzle and a second nozzle. Second groove of the piston is located between the first nozzle and the second nozzle when the piston reciprocates.
EFFECT: refrigerant compression efficiency is improved.
