FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment and relates to the optical radiation power measuring method with the metal bolometer. Method comprises the measuring resistive element in the form of having the reversible polymorphic transformation in the measurement temperature range alloy film placement in the radiant flux path, and the ambient temperature change compensation with the identical to the measuring element compensation element. When taking measurements, through both resistive elements a current is passed, which value increases from zero to the value, at which the compensation element film temperature corresponds to its material two-phase high-temperature region linear section beginning, and recording the current value in the circuit. Continuing to increase the current to the value, at which the measuring element film temperature will correspond to its material two-phase region linear section end, and recording the current value in the circuit. By the currents value and the voltage drop difference across the constant resistor and resistive elements determining the optical radiation power.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the measurements accuracy and increase in the signal-to-noise ratio.
