FIELD: radiant energy sensors.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiant energy sensors and devices for obtaining images in a wide spectral range, in particular to bolometers. The increase in the sensitivity is achieved by using a two-layer cantilever plate made of materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion, covered with a radiation-absorbing layer, while an additional external electrode encircling the cantilever, made in the form of a meander, is used as a sensing element.

EFFECT: increased sensitivity of the bolometer.
