FIELD: IR imaging. SUBSTANCE: method of determination of flux of electromagnetic radiation is based on conversion of energy of electromagnetic radiation into thermal one by receiving element having transition from resistive into superconductive state. In consists in preliminary determination of standard dependence of time interval when receiving element reaches critical temperature under action on it of standard electromagnetic radiation of IR range. Then similar time interval is measured for action on receiving element of determined flux of electromagnetic radiation by which value of flux is determined by means of standard dependence. To determine low fluxes of electromagnetic radiation starting conditions for possible transition of receiving element into range of superconductive transition are created in advance with the aid of constant flux of auxiliary electromagnetic radiation of IR range.
