FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas field equipment, in particular to equipment for oil production, namely, to volumetric pumps for oil production. Submersible plunger pump contains a submersible oil-filled electric motor, hydroprotection, drive shaft connected to a drive pump, piston with a hollow rod, mechanically connected through a full-metal rod with a plunger installed in a pressure chamber. Hydraulic distributor contains two pressure lines connected to the sub-piston and supra-piston cavities, and a check valve. Drive pump has a supply pipeline with a filter and a discharge pipeline equipped with a safety valve and a fine filter. Pump is equipped with an additional oil-filled chamber located between the pressure chamber and the supra-piston cavity. To transfer pressure, providing a change in the direction of piston movement, the hydraulic distributor is equipped with switching control lines located on the branches of the pressure lines.

EFFECT: invention improves the performance and reliability of the pump, increases its failure-free operation.
