When implementing the method of regulating pressure in first vessel (1) containing a mixture of substances in liquid and gaseous phases, the temperature of the mixture of substances is set so that the pressure in first vessel (1) is below a given value and so that the mixture of substances at the set temperature and prevailing pressure in first vessel (1) is only in liquid and gaseous phases (F, G). Mixture of substances contains liquefied natural gas. First component is a hydrocarbon, in particular methane, and a second component is, in particular, nitrogen. To determine the molar fraction of the first component, pressure and temperature of the mixture of substances are measured and molar fraction is determined using the boiling curve corresponding to the pressure. Basis of the boiling curve is a nitrogen / methane mixture.

EFFECT: technical result is to prevent the release of low-temperature fluids into the environment.
