FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for determining the thermobaric parameters (temperature and pressure) of hydrate formation in a multicomponent mixture of the oil or natural gas type. It can be used in the oil, gas and chemical industries to prevent the formation of man-made hydrates or to produce them. Proposed method for determining the thermobaric parameters of hydrate formation in a multicomponent mixture includes determining its component composition and initial temperature, as well as calculation of hydrate formation pressure for one of the two temperature ranges, less than or more than 273.15 K, inclusive, according to the formulas. Moreover, the pressure of formation of hydrates from all components entering into a multicomponent mixture is defined as a value equal to the design pressure of any temperature range divided by the number of ranges.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the pressure of hydrate formation from all components included in the multicomponent mixture.
