SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for determining the thermobaric parameters (temperature and pressure) of hydrate formation in a multicomponent mixture of the oil or natural gas type. It can be used in the oil, gas and chemical industries to prevent the formation of man-made hydrates or to produce them. Proposed method for determining the thermobaric parameters of hydrate formation in a multicomponent mixture includes determining its component composition and pressure, and additionally determine the value of the hydrate formation pressure from each component at a temperature of 273.15 K and two pressure ranges, which include the pressure of the multicomponent mixture, by inequalities. Then, the equilibrium formation temperatures of the hydrates of each component in the first or second baric range, respectively, are calculated by the formulas. After that, the equilibrium temperature of the multicomponent mixture is calculated by the formula.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of finding the equilibrium temperature of hydrate formation of a multicomponent mixture as a function of its pressure.
