SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of determining equilibrium thermobaric conditions of formation and dissociation of gas hydrates, finding of which is important in preventing formation and elimination of man-made hydrates, as well as gas production at deposits of natural hydrates. Disclosed method of determining equilibrium thermobaric conditions of formation and dissociation of gas hydrates involves determining component composition of hydrate-forming gases contained in mixture, its initial temperature or pressure, and equilibrium temperature or pressure is calculated by corresponding formulas for two ranges, separated by boundary temperature point, wherein value of boundary temperature point is determined by formula T=273.16-Ma/MG∙(0.0731∙P+0.0002∙P2) where T is value of boundary temperature point, K; Ma and MG – molecular weights of air and gas-hydrate-forming agent; P is initial pressure of the mixture, MPa.

EFFECT: high accuracy of finding equilibrium thermobaric conditions for formation and dissociation of gas hydrates.
