FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to external deployable components of a spacecraft, for example, solar panels or antennae, mounted primarily on small satellites. Apparatus comprises a group of panels folded tightly to each other on a side of a spacecraft, a group of flexible members connected to the panels, and an interface system associated with said groups. Interface system is configured to move the group of panels from the folded configuration to a deployed configuration when the group of flexible members is extended from the spacecraft.
EFFECT: technical result is aimed at increasing the compactness of deployable spacecraft components in a folded state.
