FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to artificial satellites (AS), primarily, to the Earth's AS. Disclosed disc-shaped AS is configured to lay a plurality of ASs in a stack when brought out under the fairing of the carrier. Each AS includes hingedly connected to each other sections, which are unfolded or unfolded in working condition in orbit. First section is an AS housing, the first side of which serves as the radiator-emitter, and the second side contains an antenna. Second section contains one or more solar batteries placed adjacent to the first side of the AS housing. Third section comprises passive reflector arranged adjacent to AS housing second side. This reflector reflects signals coming from Earth, on antenna and in reverse direction. Solar batteries are oriented to the Sun.
EFFECT: technical result is the creation of an AS with geometry, optimum in terms of functionality of the AS and costs for its removal under the fairing of the carrier.
