FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to pharmacology, can be used to reduce toxic damage to the liver of rats with carbon tetrachloride and find application in experimental medicine and clinical practice. Idea of the method is that the lab animals are intraperitoneally injected with Reamberin at a dose of 20 ml/kg for 6 days – the first 3 days 30 minutes before subcutaneous administration of 50 % oily (olive oil) carbon tetrachloride solution at a dose of 2 ml/kg with further deprivation of hepatotoxin and the introduction of Reamberin in the next 3 days.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce toxic damage to the rats’ liver with carbon tetrachloride, based on a decrease in the activity of enzymes markers of liver cytolysis of AST and ALT, ALP, reducing the content of peroxidation products in the blood and liver of animals and increasing the activity of the components of the antioxidant system in the face of lower daily and course doses of the hepatoprotective agent in comparison with the prototype.
