FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a guide rail assembly for a submersible machine as well as a guide rail holder for such a guide rail assembly. Guide rail holder comprises a radially extending support element, axially extending post (12B), which is rigidly connected to said support element and which is adapted to be inserted into an end of said guide rail (4A, 4B), engagement head (14B) that is connected to said post (12B) at a distance from said support element (10) and has a greater radial extension than said post (12), engagement head (14B) comprising a radially expandable member that is adapted to be reversibly manipulated between an active state, in which the expandable member is in engagement with guide rail (4A, 4B), and an inactive state, in which the expandable member is disengaged from guide rail (4A, 4B).
EFFECT: invention provides reduction in the fatigue of the material of the guide rail when exposed to bending moment.
