FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical production, in particular to charge billet, which is used to produce bronze billets by casting. As the initial charge used in the process of electrolytic production of aluminum used inert anode having a composition, wt.%: copper 45–60, nickel 10–25, iron – the rest, which is poured alumina to ensure its interaction with the resulting electrolyte during heat treatment, carried out in the temperature range 950–1,200 °C and aging in the oven for at least 3 days.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a charge billet with a minimum content of electrolyte in it.
