FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: electrolytic cell for electrolytic receiving of aluminium from alumina dissolved in fluoride-bearing molten electrolyte, contains non-coal anode on metallic basis, allowing electroconductive metallic surface. This anode structure contains external part with electrochemical active anode surface on which during electrolysis it is anode extracted oxygen and which is suspended in electrolyte, in essence, parallel to directed to it anode. Anode structure allows one or more running openings passing from active anode surface through this metallic structure, herewith running opening (s) are implemented with ability of direction of electrolyte circulation driven into motion by fast escape of anode extracted oxygen. External part of anode contains layer which contains mainly cobaltous oxide CoO.
EFFECT: increasing of resistance increasing of anode against corrosion.
