INSTALLATION FOR HARDENING METAL PRODUCTS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C21D1/673

Abstract RU 2678720 C1

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat treatment of metal products and can be used for quenching both the entire product and its individual zones. Installation for quenching metal products contains a drain tank and an intermediate tank, a pump for running through the cooling radiator of the quenching fluid and supplying it to the intermediate tank. Pressure tank is connected to the pneumatic system of forcing the quenching fluid in the quenching tank through a compressed air supply valve and an atmospheric valve for air release, by means of a valve and by means of a nozzle for supplying liquid from the pressure tank to the quenching tank – with a quenching tank, which is combined with a tilter for rotating the pan with the hardened products 180° from the top loading-unloading position to the quenching position by means of receiving guides made in the form of a frame associated with the drive. On the frame in the loading-unloading position, a clamping lattice movable in the vertical direction is installed to press the hardened products to the pallet, which is arranged to be located in the quenching position above the level of quenching fluid. Pressure tank is equipped with a device for differentiating the flow of quenching fluid in the quenching tank and a valve for its filling. In the side walls of the quench tank are located overflow holes, equipped with vertical-slide gates to discharge excess amount of quenching fluid to the drain tank, associated with a device for differentiating the flow of quenching fluid in the quenching tank. Quenching tank is connected to a drain tank, a pump, a radiator, an intermediate tank and a pressure tank by a piping system.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the absence of cracks and warping of products and in the possibility of quenching with self-tempering.
