FIELD: working of metal.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a unit for quenching steel parts with water. The unit comprises a water bath and a lift with a lifting winch for submerging into the bath, a return water pump connected with the cleaning system, a collector. The unit is equipped with a lattice pallet for installation of quenched parts, the body of the bath is made with a pyramidal bottom, equipped with an inlet branch pipe for cooled and circulation water, outlet branch pipes for circulation and return water, the lifting winch is connected by lifting cables with the lattice pallet, wherein the collector is configured to be horizontally placed in the working position above the quenched parts and vertically positioned in the intervals between quenching and is equipped with branches fastened to each other by a connecting bar connected movably by a cable with a rotary winch and placed on a support by the upper edge of the bath. The branches of the collector are provided with vertical branch pipes from below, the outlet holes whereof are configured to be directed to the centre of the quenched parts, wherein the branches of the collector are connected with the rotary sleeve of a tee through gland seals to be capable of rotation around the tee. The tee is connected through the inlet branch pipe and a discharge valve with the discharge pipe of a supply and circulation pump connected through a suction valve with the cooling water pipeline, and the branch pipe for the outlet of circulation water and inlet of cooled water is connected through a reverse suction valve with the suction branch pipe of the supply and circulation pump and through a reverse discharge valve with the discharge pipe of the supply and circulation pump, and the outlet branch pipe for the return water is connected through a return water valve with the return water pump.

EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency of the unit.
