FIELD: testing engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has load-bearing frame, movable traverse with the mechanism for its movement made of a pair of screw gears, damping members, clamps for clamping specimen, and dynamometer. The nut of the screw gear is mounted in the movable traverse and secured inside it with the use of fastening members through flexible member mounted coaxially with respect to the screw between the supports and through the compensator of residual deformation of the flexible member. The compensator is made of a flexible link and interposed between the top support and flange of the nut coaxially to the screw. The flexible member and compensator have different flexibility and are preliminary compressed. The movable traverse is provided with the stop for engaging the compensator.
